Contribution to World AI Conference Shanghai

John Higgins addressed delegates at the World AI Conference in Shanghai in July 2024 on the subject of global trends in AI governance and assurance. He explained the significance of the findings of the AI Assurance Club’s latest Global Trends report, and also talked about developments in the underlying AI standards.

John particularly highlighted the challenges organisations are facing to integrate the compliance requirements of horizontal regulation with long established sector-specific vertical requirements.
