Bath ART-AI PhD Conference Keynote

On 4th November, the University of Bath annual CDT conference for AI took place at the M-Shed in Bristol. Rob Wortham delivered the keynote talk ‘AI Governance: The State of Play’. In his talk, Rob presented the work of the AI Assurance Club and outlined some of its recent achievements. He particularly discussed work relating to the challenge of cross-cutting AI regulation such as the EU AI Act in highly regulated vertical sectors such as telecommunications, healthcare and automotive. Rob also covered some of the challenges of operationalisation of AI assurance, particularly in complex AI value chains.
